The inspiration for my collection started from an interest in how people project sexuality onto things which are not necessarily sexual. Specifically, I looked at the way which water reacts to the body, how it pools in specific areas, and causes fabric to cling.
To materialise this concept, I created plaster moulds and then bonded fabric to a heat sensitive foam in order to vacuum form body parts. The rest of the garments are created using silk, silk crepe and jersey. Earrings were made through a similar process of mould making and then casting in resin.
