The Fourth Subject aims to bring to light an identity that is unique to the Chinese society, by connecting the past and the present, the tangible and intangible, and deconstructing the social system visually through clothing, accessories, and lifestyle.

The collection is inspired by the materialistic society of which China is known for today. The collection goal is to challenge the established definition of ‘luxury’ and creating ‘luxury’ out of cheap materials.

The collection focuses on exploring faux lace and knit textures using latex, as well as a faux ‘plastic’ made entirely out of semi-skimmed milk that has is no longer suitable for consumption.
