My work explores a new approach to today’s material culture of fast-fashion.
Using anti-materialistic philosophy to assist us in developing a deeper meaning and attachment to our clothes.
The collection has been designed using zero-waste pattern cutting and alternative tailoring materials to ensure the collection is fully biodegradable.

Inspired by the works of Joseph Beuys; as a sculptor, performance artist and activist. Beuys teaches us that using materials which are natural and toxic free, allows us to share a deeper connection to the natural world and therefore live with the qualities that it brings to us.
“In using silk we cover ourselves in sunlight” Beuys.
